Honest Burgers launches ‘Honest Insiders’ loyalty app, powered by Vita Mojo

Honest Burgers has officially launched its first-ever digital customer loyalty programme, ‘Honest Insiders’, and we’re thrilled to be the tech partner helping bring it to life.

Built in partnership with Vita Mojo, the new app rewards customers for repeat visits to any of Honest Burgers’ 39 restaurants across the UK, including its new smash burger spin-off, Honest Smash + Grab.

With Honest Insiders, customers receive a stamp on every visit and unlock a series of generous rewards:

  • A free side like onion rings just for signing up
  • Complimentary chicken wings or tenders on their 3rd visit
  • A free soft drink on their 5th visit
  • A free burger after seven stamps
  • Plus birthday treats, surprise and delight rewards, and early access to exclusive events

“Honest Insiders is our way of thanking our customers, honouring each visit with a digital stamp and rewards along the way,” said Marcus Denison-Smith, Chief Marketing Officer at Honest Burgers. “Beyond gathering stamps, being an Honest Insider will offer surprise and delight treats, birthday gifts and access to exclusive events. Things that we believe our customers would really love so we can recognise them on a more personal level.”

The launch marks a major milestone in Honest’s long-term loyalty strategy. And the results are already exceeding expectations:

Just one month after launch, Honest Burgers’ loyalty programme is already showing remarkable results. Gemma Barter, Senior Digital Marketing Manager at Honest Burgers, proudly shared some impressive figures in our recent customer loyalty interview:

“After one month, we’ve managed to see 25,000 downloads. 11,000 are using our sign-up reward. We’ve got a 14% transaction rate with loyalty, out of all our transactions, which is amazing. Our target was 5%, and we’re at 14%. Our target for downloads was 70,000; we’re at 25,000, so over a third already in month one.”

Even in these early days, they’re seeing loyalty members demonstrate “a slightly higher frequency rate, even after a month,” which Gemma notes is “promising” for the programme’s long-term success.
